Dryad – Patch Knife

Whisper of the woods. Keeper of the small things.

Named for the tree-bound nymphs of Greek lore, the Dryad is the Oread’s smaller kin — a blade meant for the quiet, necessary tasks that stitch camp life together. Where the Oread walks boldly into the wild, the Dryad moves with subtlety, trimming, carving, and tending to what matters close at hand.

🔱 Steel & Edge
Forged from reclaimed saw steel — 15N20 with its high nickel shimmer — the Dryad carries a legacy in its edge. Hardened to 61 HRC and tempered back to 58 HRC, it balances durability with razor performance.

The blade’s high convex grind and slender 1/16" stock make it a surgical slicer — super sharp, light in hand, and eager for fine work. At 3.5 inches, it excels in camp chores, food prep, firecraft, and carving, yet its size and strength make it equally at home as an everyday carry.

🌲 Handle & Feel
The 4-inch handle is carved for comfort, scaled down without losing substance. Made from kingwood, with black liners for depth and brass pins for strength, it brings together warmth, polish, and durability. In hand, the Dryad feels precise — balanced for quick, deft use without fatigue.

🛠️ A Blade That Belongs
The Dryad is not for grand gestures — it is for the close work, the details, the constant companion at your belt. In camp or daily life, it’s the tool that proves the truth: the smallest blade is often the one most reached for.
